  Made this for Valentine's day pudding. Really lovely tasting - quite unusual as the oreos and sour cream make it not as sweet as you would expect. I halved the recipe and it still made 8 largish slices! I also used extra low fat cream cheese and reduced fat sour cream. The only problem was that it cracked during cooking and the middle sank slightly once it was cooled. Luckily, I managed to cover it up with the sour cream!

  This cake was amazing! I wanted it to taste "more" like an oreo cookie, so I used 300g cream cheese plus the discarded oreo filling (which was approx. 300g too, and I thought it'd be a shame to trow away but still too much to eat on my own!). Delicious, and totally original. An instant fav!

  Cheesecake is always my treat dessert option when going out and I have to say this is THE best homemade cheesecake i've ever tasted. The texture is spot on and much more creamy than any other baked cheesecake I've made before. Made today a lemon version by substituting the oreos for digestives, then adding some grated lemon rind and juice to the mix and stirred lemon curd into the sour cream topping. Another triumph. Thank you! This will be my base recipe for ever!

  This cheesecake is gorgeous, a firm favourite our house. I too used the discarded Oreo filling in place of some of the cream cheese, and also added 2tsps of vanilla extract to the sour cream topping before spreading it to sweeten it a little, then decorated the top with mini Oreos and a dusting of cocoa powder - beautiful!

  One of the most delicious cheesecakes I've ever tasted. To be honest, I don't think the Oreo biscuit works very well - it was a bit soggy as a base - so I'm tempted to go with good old fashioned digestives and some dark cane sugar next time.

  Made this cheesecake and took it to a BBQ. Went down an absolute storm with everyone asking for recipe....the last slice got fought over. I did as most people suggested and used the filling from the oreos and just deducted the amount from the cream cheese. Was perfect and will be making again and again. Really good texture and taste. I also decorated with a hanful of mini oreos round the edge.

  This cheesecake was absolutely DELICIOUS! So good I've been asked to make it again and again! I did what a few other reviewers suggest and stirred the biscuit filling into the melted chocolate while it was still hot. To keep my figure conscious friends happy I made with extra low fat cream cheese and half fat soured cream. It's very rich so although it says serves 8 it actually serves 12 and I put fresh raspberries on the side.

  Delectable cheesecake...........so tasty. I have a 23cm springform tin therefore used 100g extra oreo with 100g butter. Lovely tasty and crisp base. I scraped 100g of filling and added to the chocolate to use as suggested above. The children did not want the sour cream on top so we ate without. DEVINE

  My first ever cheesecake and it was delicious! The chocolate did become 'lumpy' when I added it but stirred it before it started to set half way through baking and it came out really well. A definite recipe to repeat!
