Method

  1. Cook the noodles following the pack instructions. Toss the chicken with the cornflour and some seasoning. Heat 1 tbsp oil in a non-stick wok or large frying pan and stir-fry the chicken until golden. Scoop the chicken out, then add the veg to the pan, keeping back some spring onion, and toss for a couple of minutes.
  2. Add back the chicken and the lemon, honey and chilli sauce, plus a splash of water, and bubble for a few minutes until you have a sauce. Toss with the noodles and sprinkle over the remaining spring onion to serve.

Lovely flavours but found it difficult to get the sauce to go 'sticky'. By the time it was, the mange tout and pepper weren't as crunchy as they should have been. Would recommend not adding the veg until the sauce is already thickened.

Easy, tasty quick supper. I agree with jb5370, add the veg last. Would be nice with cashew nuts added.

This was a lovely recipe, I also added the veg after the sauce had thickened, however I guess it is a matter of personal taste as I like my veg quite crunchy. I added toasted sesame seeds to garnish and will definitely be making this great dish again.

I have to say I found this quite disappointing. Mine wasn't very sticky at all - maybe I did something wrong though.

All round winner with the whole family. Even my husband, who doesn't like the same meal too often, said he would eat it again the following night!!! I like a 'wet' meal so didn't let the sauce get too sticky and also added a little extra of the wet ingredients.

I thought chicken breasts were rather expensive for a stir fry so used fresh british skinless quick cook turkey steaks which were very tasty and much cheaper. I agree with adding the veg last to keep them crunchier. Used hot chilli sauce. Very tasty meal.

this is a great dish. next time i think i would add cornflour to the sauce ingredients instead of the chicken like i would for sweet and sour. just out of curiosity.

I really enjoyed this and thought the sauce was really tangy, also it actually closely resembled the picture! I did change it around a bit by swapping the suggested veggies for beansprouts, and think I'll try adding cashews next time. I agree that the sauce isn't 'sticky' but it was thick enough to give everything a really nice coating, didn't bother adding that splash of water. The only negative thing I'd say is that is you include the prep it takes longer than 20 mins (or maybe I'm just slow lol)

I added the veg quite late on so they stayed crunchy. Delicious and quick, made from store cupboard ingredients. I thought cashews would be a nice addition. It wasn't particularly sticky but everything was nicely coated in the sauce. A bit hit with my family and I will definitley be making this again.

We have cooked this twice now and really love it. We used chicken thighs the second time, which made it much juicier. This recipe is very tasty but needs a bit more soy sauce and honey than stated. Our sauce didn't go sticky either but we enjoyed it anyway.

Really nice flavoured dish, will do again...However, I did miss out the dark soy sauce as it wasn't in the instructions! I also added the veg last and only cooked for a couple of minutes with them in, adding straight to wok noodles at the same time.

Fab! Got it right first time and believe me, I burn toast often! Very tasty although I was unsure which chilli sauce to use so I bought Hot Sweet Chilli Sauce and this added to the stickiness I'm sure - will be making as a firm family favourite from now on.
