My 2 year old, 8 month old, picky husband (who hates spinach!) and I all loved this. I doubled the recipe but used one sweet potato and one big potato, a carton of chopped tomatoes, a teaspoon of frozen chili and baby stock cubes (extra low salt). It was absolutely delicious! There was loads left for lunch the next day and I froze some portions for my baby. Making it again tonight and it smells amazing already! I've got some yoghurt to stir in for the kids' portions to give them a few more calories.

This cooked well which I was pleased with as I don't have much experience of cooking with lentils. I substituted the spinach for Wild Rocket and fresh coriander. The only thing I felt it was missing was a bit of "zest or zing" perhaps I try squeezing some lime of next time and probably a bit more garam masala powder.

This is fabulous. I added probably double the amount of garam masala but otherwise stuck to the recipe. Reheats beautifully.

This was such an easy dish to make and is a one-pot recipe. The flavours were so lovely and fresh, spicy but not too hot. I'm not usually a huge fan of sweet potato but I really enjoyed this dahl. Very healthy too!

My 15 year old daughter made this recipe last night. Quick and easy to do and tasted wonderful. We were a bit worried it had too much liquid but it went perfectly with the naan bread. Definitely 5 stars.

Really tasty! I blended the onion and chilli along with 2 cloves of garlic and fried with the spices for a minute or so before adding the stock and lentils. Cheap and delicious!

Made this twice now and always a hit - even enough leftovers for lunch the next day. Marinated some diced chicken breasts which I pan fried and then added at the end. A winter warmer.
