  It may be easy (hence 1 star), but this a long way from the "best-ever tiramisu"! Too many biscuits, should have egg in it, etc, etc - Italians everywhere will be either be crying with laughter or utterly irate at the "best-ever" claim!!!

  ı made this receipe and everone like it. They told me that if you don't add chocolate chunks in that it would be better that now... So I satify with that receipe but I try to make again without chocolate as soon as possible. Finally you should try this receipe.

  It was good... Not great. I think that if I was to make it again, I'd add some Marsala to the sponges rather as well as the cream. It just needed more of a kick! In the past when I've made Tiramisu, I have added a layer of melted white chocolate over the sponges... Well worth a try.

  It may taste good, and that's fine and everything, but it's not the point is it? If it was called fake tiramisu or cheat's tiramisu or something like that, then, yeah.. but to call it 'best ever' is ridiculous. No egg, no tiramisu.

  Agree, it is a cheat's tiramisu, but it tastes nice, and is easy and make ahead so good for dinner parties. Every time I've made it everyone loved it. I actually find that I need more sponge fingers than stated.

  I loved this recepy!! it was so easy to make and looked great when it was finished too!! I made mine the nite before and left it in the fridge overnite so it was really chilled when I served it - everyone commented how nice it tasted - specialy since I hadn't made one before - so I was really pleased how it turned out! one thing though when making the whipped cream, taste after to see if it needs more marsala or sugar as I found mine needed a bit more than was stated on the recepy for both - but its to everyones individual taste - at least if you taste it first though then you know its perfect for when you serve it to your guests!!

  Accept it for what it is & you have a really simple, easy to make & delicious desert - whatever you want to call it. I substituted port for the marsala as I didn't have any and it was still simply gorgeous & so, so easy. I used very strong 85% dark grated chocolate and the result was brilliant. Needed more sponge fingers than stated but I think that depends on the size of the dish you use. Don't look at the calorie and fat content if you are at all concious though - definitely one just for an ocaisional treat!

  I added a bit of cooled coffee to the cream and marscapone mix, and added a splash of marsala to the rest of the coffee to soak the sponge fingers in. Served it out to friends and they all wolfed it down. Gorgeous!!

  I made this recipe from scratch. Baked my own Savoiardi, made my own mascarpone cheese because both were not available in the supermarket where I live. Ah well, but I followed the rest to the hilt and the tiramisu came out splendidly. We made enough to feed 12, but this light airy dish is almost nighing finish and only 6 people have eaten so far :) Will definitely make it again.

  Just made this for a group of friends and they loved it! There was too much cream mixture and next time I would add more biscuits but it tasted great and my friends loved it and what more do you want from a dessert? I'll definitely be making it again!

  really nice and very simple to make! made as individual portions. I found another similar recipe in one of my cook books - it has cherries in the layers and cherry brandy mixed with coffee - will try next time :)

  One star because it is simple and looks good. One star because the cream mix tastes very nice indeed. But...3/4 of my guests left it and I had to throw the remainder away. Just too much cream, not enough sponges. I wish I had taken note of the hints from other raters!
