I was thinking of doing this recipe for a late afternoon snack or after tea, would this be a good suggestion. I mean is it tasty if you make it right?

Followed the recipe closely. Tasted like something you'd buy from a 24 hour garage. Not good.

Taste delicious! I used standard olive oil and they've come out really moist with a lovely crumby texture. One thing though, there must be a typo in the amount of icing sugar needed; must be 50g not 500g! 500g would bury these half dozen with most of it still in the bowl! I'll be making these again no doubt.

I have tried other muffin recipes with not much success (other types of recipe usually turn out fine for me). This recipe worked and was very easy to do :) I doubled the recipe to make 12 and added chocolate chunks. Loved eating them warm whilst the chocolate chunks were still soft and gooey...mmmmm :)

I didn't manage to get these to taste very nice...I think they definitely need the choc chips: I didn't have any, which is maybe why they turned out to be a bit tasteless.

Hello!
From everybody's comment this sure looks tasty. Can somebody tell me how to bake this in a gas oven? I've just got a new one and I don't know how to bake food.. I need help!
How do I set the timer in that knob? I'm guessing it's minute wise and the other knob is for the griller.

The muffins came out all well.. I made them exactly as in the recipe... measured everything on my digital scale.. I think they should have been a little more sweeter and moist... any suggestions?

And I doubled the recipe to make 12 hence why I used so much choc... :)

These are so lovely and moreish! I used vegetable oil, added some chocolate chunks (about 200g) and some vanilla extract to spruce them up even more. Makes quite a thick mixture but seemed to cook fine.
Quick, fairly simple and went down well!

I have baked those muffins for sale as part of fundraising. I have added chopped chocolate and vanila essence. They were absolutely brilliant and sold immediately. People loved them and came back for more.
I think the key to this recipe is the low temperature they are baked in. I was a bit suprised it is so low, but fortunattely followed the recipe and they turned out just brilliant!
