These muffins are really yummy and moist. Added a bit of water to the mixture to get it to dropping consistancy before putting into the cases. Would recommend a try!

I made loads of these (with sunflower oil) added some vanilla essence and some chocolate chips and they are fab! I topped them with melted chocolate mixed with cream and some rice paper cake toppers to make cakes to take home after my son's birthday party - no under pressure cake cutting for me!!

Mine turned out very dry, small and not muffin like at all...more like a small, dry cupcake! I'm having real problems making good choc muffins at the moment despite following recipes....must be me!!

Very simple to make. I added chocolate chips and small pieces of white chocolate too. Not sure if I over-mixed the batter, or over cooked them, but ended up with smooth-topped muffins that were quite cake-like in texture. However the flavour was fab and texture was still very edible and I will try them again experimenting with my oven at different temperatures!

I have baked those muffins for sale as part of fundraising. I have added chopped chocolate and vanila essence. They were absolutely brilliant and sold immediately. People loved them and came back for more. I think the key to this recipe is the low temperature they are baked in. I was a bit suprised it is so low, but fortunattely followed the recipe and they turned out just brilliant!

These are so lovely and moreish! I used vegetable oil, added some chocolate chunks (about 200g) and some vanilla extract to spruce them up even more. Makes quite a thick mixture but seemed to cook fine. Quick, fairly simple and went down well!
