Looks professional and tastes divine. My guests loved this spin on the traditional prawn cocktail starter - the horseradish cream give the dish a real sparkle.

This was a really tasty starter - lots of taste but without being too filling. I used wild Alaskan salmon so that it was not overpowered by the dressing. Served with two small triangles of very thin sliced buttered brown bread. Nothing left on the plates so will definitely be serving this again.

Delicious! Did this as a mothers day starter and it was loved by everyone. We served it with crusy bread and the horseradish cream on the side (not everyone wanted it), Will definitely be making this again. It's on the expensive side (the prawns and salmon cost us £5, but it does look and taste very special)

I'm not a fan of recipes with honey or too much ginger but I followed the recipe to the letter and this starter was sublime. As others have said, this can be prepared in advance making life easy.

Made this last night having read all the positive comments. Was a bit dubious seeing as there are so few ingredients and so little effort required....need'nt have worried.... it was absolutely delicious!!!! My guests couldn't stop praising it. The combination of flavors from the horseradish to the zingy dressing complimented the fish so well, am definitely going to make it again and again and..........!!!!!!! YOU MUST GIVE IT A GO!!!!

This is just brilliant! Looks professional, tastes divine and everyone things you're a genius. For those of you who don't like smoked salmon, substitute it for avocado or leave it out all together. Winner!!

I plan to make this as a starter on Christmas day as it is light, tasty and the dressing can be made up in advance for a quick plate up. I prefer the creme fraiche and horseradish sauce from the Mustard Salmon and Veg bake GoodFood recipe.
