Stilton on toast with pickled pears
Take plain old cheese on toast to a new level with this clever idea

Vegetarian
- Bring the vinegar, sugar and chilli to a boil, bubble for 1 minute. pour over the pear slices and cool. Mash the stilton with the butter and port.
- Spread on the toast and grill until browned. Serve with the pears.

- 1 large pear , peeled and cut into thin slices

- 20g butter , softened
- 1 tbsp port (optional)
- 2 large slices bread or 4 small slices, toasted
