Really good, different to a 'normal' stew. Easy to put together and can be left alone for a lot of the prep time. Kept well for the next day, too.

Thought this was a great alternative to a normal stew as well. Though I didn't have the kale so I topped it with some chopped parsley for some more green.

Really lovely dish. Used spinach instead of kale and used a normal chilli. The children loved it too as I think the sweet pots helped to ease the spice.

This is one of the tastiest stews I've ever made. It adapts well to most meats, and I imagine it could be made with tofu if you are a vegetarian. It's good for entertaining or for a homely meal. It's a firm favourite in our household. Like Chris, I use spinach instead of kale.

Absolutely fabulous and the meat was so very tender. I have made a lot of the BBC Good Food recipes, but this one must be in the 'will certainly make again, and very soon' league!!

Lovely, spicy, warming stew. The meat just melts in the mouth. Definiately a favourite with myself and my husband. I always made extra so that we can feeze some as well.
