This takes couscous from ordinary to extraordinary ! Recipe easily halved, and would generously serve three people. Loved it.

I cooked this for a dinner party for ten people, served with the Lamb and date tagine. It went down a storm...everyone loved it. However, the quantities on the couscous for ten is really not enough. I upped it to 500g of couscous, but it still all went and my guests would have eaten more if there had been some available! To be generous, I think 700-750g would be a bettere quantity. Very tasty and delicious with the tagine.

Really nice served with the Moroccan Lamb receipe on here. I used Ainsleys own brand of moroccan cous cous with this as worked well with the lamb dish. Was delicious

Quick and easy, great as a side dish for BBQs as well as the lamb tagine recipe as suggested. I add chick peas and feta and sometimes use giant cous cous instead of the normal type, which also works really well.

I originally made this to serve with another GF recipe, Fruity lamb Tagine, and it was the perfect accompaniment. It is so easy and delicious that I have made it many times since. It makes a great lunch to take to work when you add roasted veg and rocket salad, chargrilled chicken or falafels with houmous and pitta bread. It also introduced me to Harissa paste; what a versatile ingredient! I have been adding it to chillis, marinades, soups etc...It has become one of my store cupboard essentials.
