  Amazingly like pot noodle but with extra flavour - think this might be a regular dish - with maybe some added spice and different veg.

  This was really tasty and really easy and I can see how adding extra veg would be good. It was half way between super noodles and pot noodle (both great student staples) which made it seem unhealthy but using fresh veg it was of course far healthier! :o)

  For students - my younger son says, use some tinned veg. Most of the supermarkets have quite cheap tinned veg, and there's usualy only veg and water in it, sometimes salt too. Check the label to make sure there's none of the chemicals there used to be in tinned veg (when I was a student). And the tinned veg is easiest also for self-catering in halls of residence, where kitchen security isn't always too good! If you're in our own flat - try having several different packs of frozen veg in your freezer - and pick'n'mix. The noodles that are "straight-to-wok" tend to much more expensive than dried noodles. The dried noodles don't even need to be cooked in a pan or microwave - most of them can be put in a big bowl with boiling water, and left for 5 or 7 minutes, or whatever.

  nice and quick, healthy, but not a taste bud winner for me. misses thought it was alright good for heatlthy food quick and easy but not the tastiest

  i'v made this 3 times in the last week, its a realy tasty noodle dish. I used soy sauce instead of worcester and added shredded lettuce right at the very last minute of cooking which adds a nice crunch.

  I added some chilli flakes into this as my partner loves spicy foods... it was really good and he loved it! I also added some small pieces of sweet pepper and that worked really well. Really nice dish!!! Will be doing this again as it is so easy and quick! (but maybe without the chilli flakes next time as it might be too much for some people).

  I make a variation on this using a teaspoon or two of thai curry paste. Leave out the bacon, and add some defrosted frozen prawns at the end, and some lime (or lemon) juice. Tastes like tom yam soup, I love it!

  Easy to cook and great in the taste department, though I did add some sweet chilli sauce and replaced the peas with some shredded savoy cabbage as my hubby a bit fussy about peas! My two young daughters absolutely loved it and had extra helpings, always a good sign!! :)

  I just made this, I didn't have any bacon so added some chopped celery with the peas etc and some grated carrot at the end. I also added a teeny bit (like 1/3 of a tsp) of tomato puree. It's good for a quick healthy lunch or snack but wouldn't want it as a proper meal

  I used dried rice noodles instead of straight-to-wok wheat noodles which worked really well but I did have to briefly cook them first. I found the dish a little bland over all so I added some extra chilli to mine and but cut out the Worcester Sauce as I didn't have any in the house. Using 200ml of stock made it a little too salty for my taste and so would use 1/2 a stock cube not a full one. I will defiantly do this one again but with modifications.

  I made this but added soy sauce and chilli, mushrooms and yellow pepper, chinese five spice, ans sweet chilli sauce, it definitely needed it. It would have been bland without it, but the end result was so delicious, and it took 10 mins from start to finish. I made extra and had the leftovers for lunch the next day. Will defo be making again.

  such an adaptable recipe...can pretty much throw in whatever veg i have ...always have noodles and chicken stock in the back of the cupboard so great for when time is of the essence!

  Just made this; very good! Plain flour works fine if you have no cornflour and I added a little chilli just to give it a kick. I had to use more stock than is indicated in this recipe but that could be down to the type of noodles I used. Will be making it again!
