Made this with my 12 year old daughter, very easy she could have done it alone!! We used cadbury dairy milk as not keen on dark choc, and also used cadburys turkish delight broken into squares, wish i had cut the squares in half though so they spread out more evenly, but still absolutely scrummy. Will definately make this again, and have 2 crunchies standing by to make one of the variations!!

I made these for my boyfriend's dad's birthday. I made a blend of 200g of good quality dark swiss chocolate and 100g of milk green and blacks. I added about 10 glace cherries, used milky bars adn turkish delight bars and wow! It was sooo tasty! Thanks!

I used to make this with my mum years ago and we never put golden syrup in, I'm pretty sure we used condensed milk and a shot of espresso, ( or nescafe with a tiny bit of water), and we used milk chocolate and white cooking chocolate, cherries, crushed nuts, marshmallows and short bread biscuits and it taste's amazing! the coffee really brings out the flavor of the chocolate but don't worry if you don't like coffee you can't taste it one bit! I'm making it tonight for a saturday movie night in! yum!

I really like the subtle rose flavour of the turkish delight. I followed the recipe, but it would be a very easy on to adapt.

Wow, so easy to make and delicious (made with Maltesers). My son and I made them 5 mins before our guests arrived (slightly soft when served but no-one complained - could have done with making a while beforehand, but they didn't even last a day!

I absolutely love this recipe! I used turkish delight bars, digestive biscuits instead of rich tea and used milk chocolate instead of dark

I made these for my kids (age20 & 17) they loved them . I now have to make them every week ! They tend to last that long sometimes. I used crunchie bars as they are my kids favourite.Very sweet you only need to cut them into tiny squares, FAB & so easy

Made these recently for a family party and everyone loved them, adults and children alike. I did use half dark and half milk chocolate though and think my children would have found it too bitter with just dark. Also added Maltesers with the rich tea, which was more milk chocolate. Tasted perfect with half and half. Will be making them again!

Forgot to say that I didnt add the marshmallows - not a big fan and thought it would have complicated the taste.

OH is addicted to Rocky Road and loves this. I used halved glace cherries instead of turkish delight, plus 200g Green & Blacks milk and 100g Lindt 85% cocoa (as that's what was in the cupboard) and was delish. Was a bit too rich for me when made with all dark chocolate. Nice warmed slightly (20 secs in Microwave) with ice cream.

I went to a wedding last week and they had this as a wedding cake!!! It was iced in the traditional fashion but I can't for the life of me remember what was between the icing and the cake (jam? ganache? marzipan?) Does anyone have any suggestions as to what would work best as I am in the process of making one myself. Thanks!

I made these with no chocolate bars but put half pecan's and glace cherries in there too - I love experimenting with recipe's, and even though I am only eleven I have been testing these Rocky Road's out on the 'hardest-to-please food critic' in the world - my Dad. (He loves them)!!!
