Very nice and quick, went down a treat at our bonfire last night and I made 30!!! It did take 2 batches of sause mix though. Instead of 2 tsp of chilli power I added a 1 tsp of chilli power and 1 tsp of crushed chillis. I'll be making the sauce again soon, but this time as a chicken rub ummmm :-)

Really nice. Served them in crusty rolls with fried onions, tomato chutney and Mayo on bonfire night and they were a big hit. Will def do again and try the sauce on chicken.

Just made this on a spur of the moment thing as I was fed up of plain sausages, wow! So quick, and easy to make with bsic ingredients. I thought it would be too sweet when tasting it before cooking but it works so well. I also loved someones idea of camaralising red onions with it, will definately be trying this again!!

Made this recipe for dinner today with some fried onions in hot dog rolls. Absolutely loved it as did everyone else. This will be a firm favourite for us. Plenty of sauce left in the baking dish to put on the sausages after they were cooked. Thanks to the Beeb for a wonderful website full of amazing recipes.

This is so nice. My husband doesn't like bangers but said that I could make these anytime. A definite winner. :)

This is so simple and makes such a great change. Sausages will now seem very dull without this fantastic sauce which as others have said would also be delicious on chops, chicken, steaks etc.

really simple recipe and really tasty! I used the same quantity of sauce mix for a pack of eight sausages. I also used hot chilli powder which had a kick but wasn't too hot. If you are on weightwatchers this recipe works out at 8 propoints per portion if you have 2 Tesco half fat sausages (I also added a tbsp of oil to the sausages due to lack of fat but probably didn't need so could remove 1 propoint for this)

Did this with Linda McCartney sausages and used a couple(?) of teaspoons of garlic granules instead of cloves. Went down really well. I was scared that I wouldn't like it though, since I don't like ketchup or honey! But it was great. Definitely make it again.

...Oh I forgot, we also did about half a teaspoon(?) of hot chilli powder instead of 2 teaspoons of mild, just because that's what we had.

I live in the USA so I'm sure the sausages we get here aren't quite the same, though I did use a good quality banger, but we thought this recipe was lovely. Spicy and sweet, but it still let the flavor of the sausage shine through. And it was quick! I'm definitely going to make this again.
