  2. Whizz the flour and butter in a food processor then stir in the oats and sugar. Pile on top of the fruit. Bake in a 190C/fan 170C/gas 5 oven for 30-35 minutes until golden and crisp. Serve with cream or ice cream.

Made this with half pear, half apple and the blackberries and it was absolutely brilliant - going to make again as it's a new family favourite!

I made this for Thanksgiving weekend meal. Everybody raved about it and I had to pass on the recipe. The recipe was very easy to follow and was so delicious and will definitely make it again.

Delicious and super easy! I mixed the flour ad butter by hand rather than in the blender which was fine! Lovely with some vanilla cream :)

The recipe indicates that it's freezable. Does one freeze before baking in the oven or after?

Big hit in our house. Added plums and Bradley apples too to make it go further. Left out th booze and used cinnamon stick, and mixed crumble by hand. Lovely recipe.
