Beetroot Meatballs

Ingredients
- 400 g beef mince
- 2 beetroots, grated
- 50 ml semolina
- 1 tsp fresh oregano
- 2 garlic cloves, crushed
- 2tbsp plain flour
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 300 ml stock
- Salt, pepper
Method
- STEP 1Put the beef mince, grated beets, semoline, oregano and crushed garlic in a bown.
- STEP 2Season and mix welll with your hands.
- STEP 3Form into walnut-sized balls.
- STEP 4Put the flour on a plate and roll the meatballs in the flour.
- STEP 5Heat 2 tbsp olive oil in a skillet and blown the meatballs.
- STEP 6Move the meatballs to a plate.
- STEP 7Heat 2 tbsp olive oil in the skillet and the onion.
- STEP 8Cook for 5 min and add the stock.
- STEP 9Get to boil, lower the fire, add the meatballs and put the lid on.
- STEP 10Simmer for 1 hour.
- STEP 11Serve with rice and bread.
