Method

  1. Heat grill to medium and simmer the potatoes in salted water for 3 mins. Drain well, tip into a shallow baking tray, then gently toss with the oil, garlic, rosemary and seasoning. Spread out in one layer and grill for 10-15 mins or until crisp and golden.

I cooked these tonight with marinated pork chips and mixed veg, absolutely delicious! I left the skins on as per the previous comments but will definitely try them in the oven next time.
Something different and a lovely side dish!

This is amazing. I left the skins on the potatoes and cut them into half cm slices so they did not break apart. They crisped up perfectly.

I had them in the oven for 20 mins, and then turned them over and decided to grill them a little more. They didn't turn crispy though, and I added some salt (I'm a salt addict). Absolutely delicious. We'll see what my boyfriend thinks when he gets home... :)

I did these in the oven instead of under the grill as already had the oven on and they were very tasty, although might slice them a bit thicker next time as they did break up when I tried to mix them up a bit in the tin. The smell was absolutely fantastic and drove my flatmate slightly mad!
