- 12 figs, fat ones
- 1 jar honey, with the comb if possible
- ½ tub mascarpone
- nutmeg
- cinnamon

Method
- Heat the oven to 200C/fan 180C/gas 6. Wash the figs and cut halfway through from the top. Gently squeeze open then put in a baking dish.
- Spoon a little of the honey into each fig and add some of the comb, if using. Dot the mascarpone on top and add a tiny pinch of the spices. Splash a small amount of water into the dish and bake the figs for 12 minutes. Remove from the oven, baste in the juices and allow to cool down a bit. Serve on their own or with vanilla ice cream.
