Quick, easy very tasty dip. Also good with basil instead of the mint.

I chose this recipe as I had some artichokes in oil which I wasn't that keen on. This makes a really tasty dip - the lemon and cumin are lovely. I went for the chunky option - very nice.

What is a 'serving'? I have looked all over the page - 69 calls per serving, 2g of protein etc. etc. is it 100g? could someone help!!?

Sue, I think as it serves 8 people, a serving would constitute one eighth of total dip.

I totally am a lover of humous, and decided to give this lighter option a try. When I saw there was no tahini or chickpeas involved though, I reckoned it would be more suited to call just a spread? Anyway! I made this, and it came out a little bland - BUT! if you add 1 tsp each of salt and pepper, and about 1-2 tsp dried basil as previously mentioned, it turns out flippin' marvellous! I only used 2 tbsp of oil as the artichokes I used was already soaked in oil from the jar. The recipe with adjustments can be found here on my blog: http://julesthenorweegie.blogspot.co.uk/2012/12/pea-artichoke-spread.html Thanks for the recipe!
