Really easy to make and add to as others have mentioned. Goes great with meatballs - brown them in a frying pan and then put the cooked sauce in with them whilst you cook the spaghetti. The sauce mixes with all the meatball juices - yum!

I added carrot, a red pepper and some pancetta and it tasted fantastic. Such a simple dish yet so tasty.

A lovely, simple, quick sauce. The best version I've cooked of this so far is with two chopped shalotts, half a red chilli and dried basil at the end. Fresh basil would be ideal, but dried is all I had and it works really well.

Start by frying off an onion for 5 minutes (with bacon or diced chicken if you want a meaty sauce), and add a couple of extra garlic cloves and this is one of the best quick, low fat pasta sauces I've tried.

Very quick and very tasty. I've added a handful of mushrooms which i've saute with a splash of oil) just before adding the basil and some pepper at the end. Delicious!!!

I made the arrabiata version without basil and with a finely sliced shallot added. Outstandingly good. I've made Tom Norrington Davis's version for years but this is far better. Less watery and far more taste.

This is the easiest and tastiest tomato sauce I've ever come across. I make it in large volumes then freeze it. I add a finely diced onion and mainly use dried basil - but the flavour is still superb.

GLUTENFREE:
So easy, so good... add whatever you want. Awesome.
Make sure the stock cube and puree is gluten free and you got some easy goodness...

Why would you use a jarred sauce when this is so ridiculously easy and BETTER than a jar? Thoroughly recommend.

I made the arrabiata version, added grilled peppers and chicken, and served with fresh pasta and it was lovely!

Really easy to make and super tasty! I didn't have any vegetable stock, but it still tasted really good!
I think I'll add a few bits of chopped veg or something next time, but for a simple sauce, this is great :)

Such a simple sauce but so very tasty!
My husband doesn't like tomatoes particularly, but loves this sauce. I can't wait to try the other variations and maybe creating a couple of my own!

Brilliantly simple and a success in our household, finally my 3YO will eat pasta with a sauce = result! (I used tomato ketchup instead of sugar, added dried oregano & balsamic).

We ran out of stir in pasta sauce and didn't know what to do so I thought that it couldn't be that hard to make it yourself so i searched Pasta Sauce and this great recipe came up. So glad we decided to give it a go and it's also very very easy to make, but I added a teaspoon of capers, splash of lemon juice and salt and pepper. When I added the basil near the end I also added a few cherry tomatoes. We had it with pasta and cheese.
