  What does "..add the lemon and egg whites and pulse, .." mean? Do we add the lemon juice, rind, both?

  In reply to Tinas question I would say, as it says in the list of ingredients, 1 lemon, zested, that you would just add the lemon rind, adding the juice would make the mix too sloppy, that's what I will do when I try them anyway

  Hmm had a go at this for christmas presents. It makes a VERY sticky batter - not really one to roll into balls. Also struggled to get them cooked without browning them too much but they look delicious and taste better!

  It states in the ingrediants 140g of icing sugar,but where in the method does it go?????

  in reply to lorraine h. the icing sugar is the sugar that you put into the biscuits. don't know why but its the only sugar on the ingredients list so it must.

  I made these cookies and they were lovely but the recipe is, as others have said, totally unclear. Lemon, without zest or just lemon zest? Eggs! it states 2 eggs separated but then only goes on to use the whites, no mention of the yolks. Anyway, right or wrong, I used only the lemon zest and added 2 whole eggs and the result was lovely.
