  1. Cut a ¼ of the onion into thin slices and then finely chop the rest. Mix the pork with the breadcrumbs, chopped onion, oregano, egg, half the garlic and some seasoning. Mix well and form into 12 small patties. Mix the remaining garlic with the radishes and yogurt in a small bowl. Chill until needed.
  2. Rub the patties with a tiny bit of oil and chargrill in a pan or on the barbecue for 4-5 minutes a side until cooked through. Mix the sliced onions and tomatoes and serve with the patties, tzatziki and some warm pitta breads.

This is very yummy! The patties were easy to make held firm during the frying process. I served it with a greek yoghurt and a spciy little salsa of tomato, cucumber, red pepper, red onion and chili. I also toasted some pita breads and serve those on the side. It was a delicious mid-week meal and this is set to become a family favourite

Morrisons didn't have pork mince so I made them with turkey mince instead. Also lovely :).

I made these as part of a casual get together with friends, and cooked them on the plancha as part of the "al fresco experience". Pleased to say they went down well and everyone loved them. Held their shape perfectly and will no doubt become a firm favorite to add to my buffet menus.

Really lovely, super healthy and filling. I don't bother with the breadcrumbs and they still hold together just fine.

Forgot to say, I also grill them rather than fry and they are still moist and hold their shape.

So flavoursome! I was a bit dubious about the radish tzatziki - there looked to be too much yoghurt - but the garlic really brought out the flavour and it made a lovely dip for the patties. Will definitely be having these again. I served with the lime and chilli flake toasted pita breads that are on this website also.

I have some silly qs to ask regarding this recipe: - Is this an appy or a main dish? - Do you eat the patties and the tzatziki alone (like finger food) or do you eat it like a burger? Thank you.

We loved this recipe, my suggestion would be to go easy on the oregano as it can be overpowering and add some salt to the radish tzatiki. A delicious way to eat low fat.

SB - I made it as a main meal and there was plenty! Definitely fingerfood - I'd put a pattie on a bit of pita with a dollop of the yoghurt - like an open burger!

I found my test patty far, far too dry; so much so it was inedible. I remixed the meat with 2 tbsp of olive oil and they were very well received. The radish tzatziki complements them perfectly. Worth trying with a fattier pork mince for better texture and flavour, I reckon.

This is definitely an main meal for 4 people. I made it for myself and my husband last night and we only managed to eat half - but at least thats dinner sorted for tonight! A really tasty dish that is also low in fat - perfect. We really enjoy this kind of "make your own" meal. We used flatbreads and filled them with lettuce, the tomatoes, onion and the tzatziki and patties - delicious, and very filling!

The patties were lovely, although I think I was a little mean on the seasoning, no one liked the tzatziki, but a pitta full of salad and some chilli sauce has been requested for the next time I make these!

Delicious! Definitely go easy on the oregano, we used half the amount. We also added twice the garlic suggested to the tzatziki and it was muchos better. Yummy!!

Made these yesterday, not my favorite Tzatziki but it worked okay, would try another variation next time. Also for me there was not enough Oregano and it maybe need something else in addition to give it a lift, perhaps some wholegrain mustard.
