Spaghettini with crab, lemon & chilli

From Ricky's River Bar & Restaurant, on the Noosa river. This is entertaining, Aussie-style, food

Method

  1. Cook the spaghettini following packet instructions. Drain.
  2. Cook the garlic, chilli and shallots in the olive oil until aromatic. Add the lemon juice, zest and parsley, and fold the crab through on a gentle heat. Toss through the warm spaghettini, season and serve immediately.

    Without doubt the best chilli, crab + pasta recipe ever. Made this at least a dozen times and the balance is just right but watch the amount of lemon which in that quantity is not to everyones taste. Even used tinned crabmeat once when caught short and it still tasted great. The perfect summer evening dish!
