  I have now made these cookies twice and the family love them,they dont stay around for to long lol,i used a bar of chocolate that i chopped up which gave the cookies a great chunky look, they smell lovely while cooking and taste just like the shop brought ones,going to make some more today but will try m&ms or smarties...A must try you will not be dissapointed...

  Brilliant cookies, everyone here loved them. I halved the recipe and still managed to make 11 reasonably large cookies, so doing the full amount will make 15 pretty large ones :)

  Absolutely gorgeous! Even better when warm from the oven when they're soft on the inside and crunchy on the outside, but good even when they cool. Make them small though since they puff up quite thick.

  These are great! Had to experiment a bit with the size of the cookies - first lot were too big so I made the second batch a bit smaller and then left them in a bit too long!! But I managed to get 28 cookies using the quantities given here - coffee time at work tomorrow will be extra specially yummy!!!!

  Wow- I have always been disappointed in the past with cookie recipes but not this one. They are so easy to make and are melt in your mouth. Just made my second batch and now cant wait to play around and make some plain cookies with white choc chips and macadamia, fudge chunk ones and maybe even some cranberry and choc chip. I halved the recipe the second time and reduced the cooking time to 10 minutes - more to save my waistline than anything else!

  Fab cookies...my 10 year old daughter just made these with my guidance and they were really quick and easy. She was thrilled with the result and they went down well with the whole family. Will definitely be making them again but will make them slightly smaller next time!
