Method

  1. Whizz the first 6 ingredients in a food processor and form into 4 burgers. Chill for 10 minutes, then fry in a little olive oil until crisp.
  2. Grill the halloumi. Fill the rolls with falafel, halloumi, salad, chilli sauce and houmous.

    Really nice twist on the usual vege burger. Was very tasty. I was worried the falafel would be crumbly but just chill them for at least 10 minutes and they are fine.

    Made these as per recipe but they were incredibly dry when all ingredients were mixed together. Added 1 grated carrot, 1 beaten egg, blob of natural yogurt, some sweetcorn & spring onion & some rye cracker crumbs! WOW! Ok, so I didn't strictly stick to the recipe but very impressed all the same. (",)

    I'd agree with the comment about the falafel being dry, if you're sticking to this recipe you definitely need some added extras on the roll to balance things out. I made mine with soured cream, cheese & salad. Yum.

    I added an egg and some olive oil. It held it's shape well but next time I will add a few more spices as it was a bit bland. Will make again
