Extremely quick to make, don't scrimp on the chorizo as it really flavours the rice

This was a gorgeous meal, made in a flash and enjoyed by all, including my 1 year old! Ok so it's not paella in the true sense, but who cares. We loved it!

a very tasty 'rice' dish. surprisingly rich and filling. added loads of peas and prawns for colour and interest. I'm usually a bit suspicious of dishes that combine meat with fish - but this one turned out great! great cold with salad the next day too...

Really disappointed - no flavour to it whatsoever - so bland. The rice measurements are also completely out - I ended up throwing two thirds of it away. Definitely wont cook again - not a good one for me.

ok, so it's not technically paella, but who really cares, it tastes GORGEOUS! The people saying it has no taste must have done something wrong.

This may not have been paella but it was extremely tasty and quick to make. I used green beans instead of peas and it went down very well with my 2 yr old. Will be making this again soon!!!!!!

Of course it is not paella, and I wouldn't have expected it to be but it tasted lovely and was a big hit with the whole family! I added far more chorizo than stated which worked. Perfect mid-week dinner when you are in a hurry!!

I think this is a gorgeous recipe. It is not a paella but is just as good. It is quick and incredibly easy. I added more chorizo and prawns which makes it even tastier! It went down really well with my family.

Excellent recipe. I used two small chorizo sausages as recommended but for two people and did 200g of rice. I used a mixture of small and tiger prawns. Just enough for dinner and a packed lunch. I added a chopped red pepper, which added an extra colour and gave a slight sweetness which I thought helped. I'd consider adding some chopped chestnut mushrooms too. I had the whole thing done in less than 20 mins too.

I wasn't very impressed with this. It was OK, but didn't have enough flavour to make it special. Won't be making this again.
