  This is brilliant - totally easy and delicious. We've made it twice in the last two weeks, not good for the waistline but yummy. I guess the quality of the lemon curd makes quite a bit difference - that said, we made it with cheapo supermarket stuff first time and it was still delicious.

  Really easy and so yummy my Mum was visiting and said I shouldn't have gone to so much trouble wasn't going to tell her I didn't. Have just made the chocolate pudding which the children loved.

  Lovely pudding. Used my food processor and the whole thing took less then 10 mins. Sponge was really light, very impressed. Will be making this on a regular basis. Will also try the chocolate one as well. Fantasic for unexpected visitors - just so easy.

  This was really good. My teenage daughter mixed it and cooked it in the same bowl, so less washing up! After 3 minutes, it didn't look cooked enough, so she did another 2 minutes. On reflection 1 more would have been enough. It still made a speedy, yummy pud though.

  Absolutely fantastic! Incredible texture for a microwaved pudding. I've since tried to make it with fresh chopped ripe pears instead of the lemon curd and it worked equally well. I'll definitely use that recipe as a base for other quick puddings!

  I've made this a few times and used different 'toppings' like golden syrup - fab, its very light and a good store cupboard quick pud for supper.

  This was really easy to make, great if you fancy something sweet after tea ! The sponge was very light and the hot lemon curd definately made the pudding ! Going to try the chocolate version next

  Really can't recommend this enough. Light fluffy sponge, yummy lemonness... if that is a word! Best lemon sponge ever - although I'd recommend finding some home-made lemon curd - try your local farmer's market. Really makes the difference.

  this is an easy fool proof recipe, and i have made it many times. the only thing i would change in the method is add the lemon curd , or if you prefer jam or golden syrup, to the base of your pudding bowl before adding the batter. It seems to have a better effect when turning out the finished dessert...

  This really is one of the easiest things I have ever made, it is one of our absolute fav's and keeps well in the fridge for the next day if someone missed out! I also made with coco powder and no lemon zest or lemon curd and just microwaved couple of square of choc with few tablespoons of cream for a fab sauce.

  this really was the fastest and best cake/pudding i've ever made. my kids loved it, and since i've got one who doesn't really like cake very much, that says a lot! having said all that, i was the only one to add lemon curd alongside, and i thought this combo was wonderful. the cake/pudding itself was obviously still light and moist without, otherwise it wouldn't have been scoffed. great!
