  Really easy, quick and tasty, the shredding of the chicken makes there appear to be more than there is which is good for those with a big appetite!

  Tried and tested, really good! If you dont get the paste (like me-I forgot) add 1/2 teaspoon of crushed chilli's and a good old slosh of chilli sauce and you still get a kick :)

  I couldn't find the chipotle paste anywhere! I used smoked paprika and chilli instead and it was nice, but I would really like to try the paste. If anyone knows where I can get it I would be really grateful.

  We've just had this for dinner and all enjoyed it. I couldn't get any chipotle paste, but I did manage to get some actual chipotle chillies in Tescos. The flavour is lovely and smoky, but I think you could probably reproduce it with dried chilli and smoked paprika if you couldn't get chipotles. A word of warning though - chipotle chillies are dried and smoked jalapenos and our stew was much spicier than I expected. Will make this again and maybe scape the seeds out next time!

  We have no waitrose, and our morrison does not do chipotle paste. I used roasted green chillis it was very nice for a saturday night.

  Really good - used 2 tsps of chipolte paste (for 2 people) but next time might also add a chilli for extra spicyness.

  really quick, easy & tasty! I halved the recipe to serve 2 - next time I would increase the chipotle paste as it didn't really have any kick (even for my mild palate!). Going to experiment with the paste & attempt a chipotle, roast aubergine & tomato pasta sauce!

  Made a batch today for freezing, tried a sample (you have to!) and it is lovely. Really nice smoky flavour with a touch of heat. I used 2 tsp of the paste.

  Don't know what I did wrong. I was really looking forward to this but found it over tomatoey and quite boring. I didn't have chipotle paste either so as the previous poster did, I too used chilli and smoked paprika

  I made this last night. It was simple to make and really tasty. I couldn't find the paste so used 1tsp hot chilli powder and 1/2tsp cumin. I served with rice and crushed tortillas on top.

  I normally love all the recipies that I try on this website, but not this one. I can't say that it was 'bad' just disappointing. Maybe it is because none of my local supermarkets stock the past so I just used chilli and tomato past and one tsp of smoked paprika - also didnt go down to well with the kids who normally enjoy wraps.

  This is a delicious, low fat and quick and easy recipe for in the week - before we eventually tracked down chipotle paste in Waitrose, we used a packet of fajita seasoning mix instead which worekd well. When using the chipotle paste, I use a tablespoon rather than teaspoon for a decent kick. I serve this with a wholemeal toasted pitta bread to keep it healthy and filling. Yum!

  This recipe is an absolute gem! Ideal for a meal with friends or as part of a hot buffet. It's so so easy! Like many I struggled to find the chipotle paste, but people in the North West who live near a Booths supermarket and larger Sainsbury's also stock the discovery brand. That said, I think the many variations that not being able to find this ingredient brings out, is one of its charms. I used mild chilli powder, half a teaspoon of lazy chillies (for the kick) and then put in chopped Chorizo sausage with the chicken to give the nice smoky flavour. I also find using extra tinned tomatoes instead of liquid helps give a more thicker and richer sauce too. Yum!
