Spicy lamb kebabs with pomegranate salad
Meat on a skewer is a brilliant way to manage portion control. This supper is under 400 calories

- Cut the meat into chunks and toss with the chilli flakes, 1 tbsp vinegar, the garlic and a drizzle of olive oil. Season. Thread onto metal or soaked wooden skewers. Put under the grill or on a barbecue for 2-3 minutes each side until cooked through.
- Mix the harissa with the remaining vinegar.
- Toss together the herbs, pomegranate seeds and onion to make a salad. Serve with the lamb and harissa and the flatbreads.

- 2 lamb leg steaks
- big pinch dried chilli flakes
- 2 tbsp red wine vinegar
- 1 garlic clove , finely chopped
- olive oil
- 2 tbsp harissa , Belazu Rose is good or use regular
- 1 pack soft mixed herbs (such as dill, parsley, coriander)
- 1 pomegranate , seeded
- ½ small red onion , sliced
- 2 Middle Eastern flatbreads for serving
