Spicy lamb kebabs with pomegranate salad

Method

  1. Cut the meat into chunks and toss with the chilli flakes, 1 tbsp vinegar, the garlic and a drizzle of olive oil. Season. Thread onto metal or soaked wooden skewers. Put under the grill or on a barbecue for 2-3 minutes each side until cooked through.
  2. Mix the harissa with the remaining vinegar.
  3. Toss together the herbs, pomegranate seeds and onion to make a salad. Serve with the lamb and harissa and the flatbreads.

    Tried this a few weeks ago and again today. Both times excellent with rave comments. Halved the harissa, just in case it was too hot, but was still good.
