Ginger garlic beef with sesame greens

Method

  1. Heat 1 tbsp oil in a large non-stick wok or frying pan. Add the beef and brown quickly. Add the ginger, garlic and spring onions and cook for 2 minutes, then add the soy.
  2. Steam the pak choy and mangetout until tender then toss with the sesame oil. Serve with the beef.

    Tried this with spring greens which we got in our organic box, as I didn't really know what to do with them. Quick and easy to do, worked really well, and persuaded one of our children that greens might be OK. The other one remains unconvinced.

  • a thumb-sized piece root ginger , finely grated

  • 2 pak choi (bok choy), quartered
  • 50g mangetout
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
