Summer spice mix
Prettily packaged spice mix can double up as place-names for wedding guests

Difficulty and servings
Makes enough for 8-10 small bags
Easily doubled
Preparation and cooking times

- Simply mix all the spices together in a bag or large bowl.
- To use, simply transfer the mix to a pepper mill to grind over meat, fish or veg before barbecuing, or add straight into curries.
Printing off labels
Simply print off the labels and cut them out. Use a hole punch to make a hole to the left of the tag, push through a pretty ribbon and tie around the cones. Alternatively, print off a plain template to customise as you wish.
Finishing touches
All the packaging we used to present our favours is easily available on the high street. Head to the haberdashery section at John Lewis for ribbon, string, parcel labels and butterfly clips. Visit Confetti stores, or shop online at confetti.co.uk, for all boxes, bags and lollipop buckets. The Summer spice mix is funnelled into clear cones, £5.99 for 10.
Storing your spice mix
Make up the mix and package it up to one month before the wedding.
