Such an easy recipe - and SO tasty. I even managed to convert two teenagers who "don't like trifle" - they took a small portion out of politeness - and then asked for more!

This is a quick but elegant pud however I now whip the cream lightly before folding in the mascarpone. It bulks it up a bit and thus makes more substantial servings which is essential when feeding teenagers. Crushed Malteasers make a good alternative to Crunchies.

Made this last night as part of a birthday meal for my Mum. It was absolutely beautiful. Light too which was nice after a big meal. It couldn't be easier with great results. Highly recommend!

This is a great pudding :) However don't make it much in advance as the honeycomb bits dissolve - perhaps a bit obvious in hindsight?!

918 cals per serving???? Gah!!! I was going to make this today, but I'm not sure I can bring myself to eat half my daily calorie and fat intake in one pudding, lol! For those that have had it, is it worth it as a one off treat?

I'm sure it would be ok to replaced the double cream with single. And use some good quality chocolate, that has lower calories than Belgium chocolate. Also buy actually honeycomb, you don't necessarily have to use Crunchie bars.

I did this for a dinner party and it went down really well,we found it more creamy than chocolatey so next time will add more chocolate and follow the advice to whip the cream lightly first.

so easy to make. the only change i made was i crushed 4 crunchies as my children love honeycomb and in this mousse it was delicious. Great for children to make too as no cooking involved and straight forward to make.

These are so delicious, glad i read the comments first, i whipped the cream and added a bit more chocolate, and i got 8 substantial servings out of it instead of 6, a friend has asked me to make 45 for an engagement party so i might make a few variations, with malteasers, maybe some caramel with crunchie!

I made this on Sunday for the family and they thought it was nice. I thought it was pretty rich though and felt quite heavy rather than light, not sure if that was because of the way I made it or that it's got some heavy ingredients... oops just remembered that I used extra thick double cream..!

I love decadent desserts but this one seems too much even for me, wondered has anyone substituted half fat creme fraiche for the double cream? I might give it a try and let you know how it goes!

A really yummy decadent pudding that was loved by everyone. I also whipped the cream a little as I couldn't get hold of thick cream. This made it quite a bit more substantial (8 large portions) and probably made it seem a bit lighter.

these were lovely but they are so fattening, I think I would use single cream next time as I did find them a bit much, but will make them again the kids loved them.
