  This was absolutely delicious!!!! The only thing I did different was simply dust with icing sugar - just to make it look more festive. Definately will be making this again.

  Great recipe, so easy, used crushed gingernut biscuits instead of ameritti. Made too many so had the rest chilled the next day flavour was great.

  Delicious and so easy. Try and find the ripest pears you can-not always easy if you rely on supermarkets but it does make a difference.

  So lovely! Scraping all the bits off the bottom of the tin was great! Used good quality vanilla icecream with it as well. Would definately re-make.

  An absolute hit! This was so easy to make and absolute delicious. It looks beautiful on the plate and tastes even better. Served with Green & Black's vanilla ice cream. Found I had twice as much of the amaretti biscuits as suggested - would use less next time. Will definitely make again!

  A simple recipe which we all enjoyed. Didn't need as much amaretti as the recipe suggests - still had a lovely crispyness. My pears were quite firm (so to speak!) so needed more time, around 40 mins. Worth waiting for though!

  A really yummy, low calorie desert which is so quick and easy to make. I substituted the amaretti biscuits for maple and pecan cookies which really complimented the cinnamon. Next time I make them, I might peel the pears first as the skins were a little tough, but I'm worried the pears might disintegrate on cooking if I do this! Try to choose small pears. Mine were quite large and two halves were a bit too much but one half would not have been enough. Fantastic with a scoop of vanilla ice cream!

  Made this last night, but wasn't all that keen. I had bought 'ripe and ready to eat' pears but they were still VERY firm and took ages to cook. I wasn't convinced about the pears/ricotta/cinnamon combination, although I had previously thought it would work well and the recipe had received rave reviews from so many others. Maybe it was just the pears I used. However, I don't think I'll be making this again.

  This was not as nice as I thought it would be and thought it was a bit too dry with the ricotta cheese filling. The flavour combination of the Amaretti, cinamon and honey on the other hand was lovely. I will try this again with very ripe pears to see if this makes a difference. The ones I got were a bit firm and even if baked for longer until soft the whole pudding was too dry.

  Really like this. I've also tried it using ginger biscuits and it is lovely. Fantastic for when you fancy something sweet that isn't stuffed with calories. Quick to make too.
