Method

  1. Cook the pasta in a large pan of boiling water according to pack instructions, adding the peas for the last 3 mins. Meanwhile, flake the trout and set aside, then mix the yogurt with the horseradish, salt and pepper.
  2. Drain the pasta, then return to the pan and stir in the trout and yogurt, letting the heat of the pasta warm the sauce. Tastes great with a crisp green salad.

This tasty Smoked Trout Pasta is especially great if you're short of time. I served mine with an avocado salad on the side. I might try making it with smoked salmon next time.

I used smoked salmon for this recipe because it was on offer at my local supermarket. I think this would be equally as good as a cold pasta salad. We really enjoyed this quick, healthy recipe.

Me and Neavesy filleted the whole trout, seasoned the trout with garlic and lemon and slowly fried untill golden. We then added to the pasta and it was amazing. We didn't use smoked trout just normal whole trout filleted and seasoned. Very Nice Indeed. Easter Good Friday 2008
