Method

  1. Cook the tagliatelle in a large pan of boiling, salted water according to pack instructions. Four mins before the end of the cooking time, add the runner beans.
  2. Meanwhile, cut each slice of prosciutto into 5-6 pieces. Heat the oil in a frying pan, add the ham, then fry quickly until crisp. Drain the pasta and return to the pan with the crème fraîche, prosciutto, pan juices and plenty of black pepper, tossing everything together until the pasta is well coated.

Love this recipe! It's quick, easy, healthy and tasty - the perfect weeknight meal. I used fine green beans instead of runner beans and only 100g as 200g seems a bit much for just two people.

We made it with green beans instead of runner beans and added a little lemon juice. Delicious!

This is just the best, and so quick and easy! I've used it as a starter, and also as a main course - we can't stop eating it!

Really tasty & very quick. Didn't have runner beans or prosciutto, so used peas and bacon instead, with a generous sprinkling of parmesan on top of course :)

This recipe is fantastic, we added a little bit of white wine to give the flavour a boost and some mushrooms for that added extra.

So simple - it it was lovely! Didn't have creme fraiche so substituted normal cream plus a shot of lemon juice.

So quick and easy! I didn't fry the proscuitto because I thought it would be nice softer, but I think it might actually be better crisp. Will try adding a garlic clove and perhaps a squeeze of lemon or some herbs next time for extra flavour.
