  Very tasty will definately be making this again!! The smoky taste from the sausages really blends into the sauce. Crusty bread is a must to mop up all the lovely sauce.

  Really delicious and easy to make - as a converted vegetarian was surprised how easy to eat this was too. The sausages really gave it a lovely smoky flavour and the sauce was a really nice consistency. NOTE TO SELF: Do not confuse cayenne pepper with paprika!!! Put in a heaped spoon of cayenne and served it to my 2 year old who immediately declared it "Too Bicey" - my husband and I ate it enjoying the delicious flavours but nearly blew our heads off.

  I quite enjoyed this recipe but it was too hot! When I do it again, I would use half a spoon of cayenne pepper instead as this would make it more manageable and allow the other flavours to come out a bit more.

  Very tasty. I added a few teaspoons of my homemade hot chilli pepper sauce for extra kick, and served it with rice. Tastes even better if you cook it up the day before.

  Lovely recipe! The kabanos really adds a great smokey-ness to it too. Didn't have cayenne pepper in the cupboard so added paprika. Very nice, although I think it probably does need a bit of cayenne to add a bit of spiceyness. Very easy and would definitely make again. Served with mash potato. Yum! This recipe has also inspired me to use chicken thighs a lot more often. They're much more succulent and juicy than chicken breasts. They taste better and are cheaper. A no-brainer!

  absolutely awsome!, have made it twice now, added a little cumin and paprika, bit spicy but i like that. also used whole chicken thighs and did it all in the slow cooker after browning chicken and bacon and veg. also added a little extra flour at the browning stage. was amazing, husband wont stop going on about it! just make it!

  I just made it tonight. Really great. I added more flour than said, probably about 1tbsp..and only half the amount of cayenne because I have young children. Although, it was still probably a bit hot for them, I mixed it through rice which made it a bit milder for them. The kabanos really make the dish, they're delicious. Will make double quantities next time and freeze.

  Very easy and big, warming flavours. Perfect with a big red to round off the weekend on a cold, soggy November night. We served rice to accompany it; did a good job of soaking up any spare liquid.

  Nice and spicy. Added a little bit of Jamaican Jerk mix as well just to add a bit of a different flavour. Chicken thighs were really nice, I'm surprised I haven't used them before! A brilliant dish to have on a cold evening like tonight! Proper comfort food!

  Great recipe, couldnt find any kabanos so used chorizo... it worked really well having a paprika flavour to it from the sausage...

  Excellent. Added a tin of sweetcorn to boost the veg. Brilliant with loads of crusty bread. A real winner. Will definitely add it in as a regular meal.

  Fantastic dish! I went with chorizo as well and it tasted fantastic, I'd not cooked with thighs before either and I was hugely surprised. And impressed! I got lots of kudos putting this on the table, it will definitely be making a regular outing :)

  Really nice and quite spicey, I'm normally a mild spice kinda girl and was suprised how much heat this had from the cayenne pepper. I used Marks & Spencers mini Kabanos sausages which are quite cute in amongst it all!
