Method

  1. Lay out the tortillas on a flat surface. Place 1-2 slices of ham in the middle of each one. Sprinkle over some chopped pepper and cheese, leaving a 2cm edge at one end. Starting at the other end, roll up as tightly as you can. Wrap each tortilla in kitchen foil and twist the ends to seal. Will keep in the fridge for up to 3 days.
  2. Heat oven to 180C/fan 160C/gas 3. Place the wraps in the oven (directly onto the oven rack is fine) and cook for 10-15 mins until the cheese starts to melt. Unwrap for the last 5 mins if you want the outside to be crisp. Peel off the foil before eating.

Emma says...

Older children can pop these in the oven themselves when a hunger attack occurs. They're great for any kid on the move, but if you're out and about in the car, don't forget paper napkins to cut down on mess.

I was getting a bit bored with having the same old boring sandwich for lunch at work so came on here for inspiration. This was lovely. I don't have an oven at work so I just put the wrap in the microwave and the cheese still melted. I also added some rocket. Quick, easy and tasty.

great to have a new idea for wraps, but I found the roasted peppers too salty - maybe it was just the ones I bought but didn't like them

Really enjoyed this, great flavours although I probably went overboard on the cheese!
