  1. Blanch the broccoli in a pan of boiling water for 1 min. Drain and quickly cool under cold running water, then pat dry with kitchen paper. Put in a bowl with the apricots, broccoli, red cabbage, chickpeas and sunflower seeds.

  2. Put the onion and ginger in a bowl with the orange juice, vinegar and oil. Mix well. Leave for 5 mins to soften the onion, then add to the salad and thoroughly toss everything together.

Edib but uninspiring. Had better detox salads from BBC good food

I am only cooking for one, and the cost of this salad using your on line shopping link to Asda is over 7 pounds. Seems rather expensive to me

I couldn't grasp this combination of ingredients, I felt it didn't hang together very well.

Dunno if I just didn't make it properly but this was cabbage raw is awful and bland and the red onion was burning my insides!!!!Could just be my mistake but I don't think I will be making this again. Sorry!:(
