  I made this for a BBQ whilst camping at Wellington Country Park. Wrapped the salmon in a foil parcel and cooked for approximately 20 minutes. The thai flavours were delicious and a real treat whilst camping.

  Pretty nice, I will make again. I wasn't sure what to serve it with though. I was going to steam some pak choi but thought this wouldn't be enough.

  Sounds a lovely dish. But where do you buy tamarind purée? And banana leaves for that matter. My local Asian store had neither products & no idea where to get them from.

  Delicious. I was too rushed to measure so may have overdone the tamarind a bit, but it was still lovely. And extremely quick & simple. I cooked it on a bbq and served it on some cold soba noodles with a splash of soy which seemed to work well

  This was delicious! I halved the sauce and used salmon fillets as that's what I had in the fridge. Served with home-made egg fried rice.

  This was truly delicious. It was nice and moist being cooked in the foil and very flavoursome. I had it cold with some salad and it was lovely too.

  This is a delicious salmon dish. I did not have any lemon grass but it still turned out very well. It was not BBQ weather so wrapped in foil and baked in the oven and served with stir fried broccoli with oyster sauce and noodles with bean sprouts and spring onions - very tasty indeed.

  Fabulous recipe, so easy to prepare. Only used half a chilli and that was enough for our family. Served with the dressed rice noodles and green beans. Will definitely make again. A High St supermarket, is currently selling salmon sides for half price. For £10 this makes a great family meal.
