  Excuse me but I have children and I don't think they would or any child would like to eat this at any form of party?!

  I wouldn't even eat this now, let alone as a child! No child I know would eat this. Most Good Food recipes are great for sneaking in healthy food, but just wouldn't work. It looks nice, but there's no way I would make it for myself, or anyone else.

  I have siblings all younger than me, and I also babysit for young children, and these kids aren't that fussy. But I highly doubt they would eat this. I find most kids don't enjoy big sandwiches, they like it simple. But then again, maybe if you took out the tomatoes and replaced the bacon with ham and put it on some hovis best of both it might make it a little more enjoyable for kids. All and all, a nice enough recipe, but kids like it simple ~

  I made these for my daughters 5th birthday party - 40 children aged 3-8 made very short work of them, I didn't even get a look in! The only thing I done differently was leave out the carrot and swap bacon for ham to save time more than anything. Will be making them again for my other daughters birthday.

  Contrary to popular belief, children will and do eat these ;) I made them for my daughter's birthday party and they were loved by adults and kids (between the ages of 3 and 9) alike. I substituted the bacon for ham because I couldn't be bothered to faff about cooking and cooling bacon, and left out the tomatoes because they make bread go soggy.... but other than that, huge hit!

  I made these for my daughter and her friend for tea and they ate them. Maybe if kids werent pandered to and asked what they wanted to eat, they would eat more.Yes kids can be fussy, but if it is made clear there is nothing else if they dont eat up, they soon get the message.
