Tagliatelle with fresh tomato & basil sauce

Method

  1. Cook the pasta according to packet instructions. Toss together the tomatoes, garlic, shredded basil and oil and season well. Drain the pasta, reserving 2 tbsp of the cooking liquid.
  2. Toss everything together, sprinkle with basil leaves and serve with parmesan if using.

    An awesome, easy recipe! I can't believe no one else has tried it or rated it! The fresh tomatoes and basil (right out of the garden) make this recipe sparkle on a summer's day. Takes as long as it takes the pasta to cook! I also sprinkled pine nuts and fresh oregano on top, as well as parmesan. Delicious!
