We made this on Valentine's night, as the recipe was, we found this a most divine dish and will be making this as often as possible.

A simple recipe and a very nice dish. The balsamic tomatoes complimented the tuna perfectly. And healthy too!

Lovely. So simple and tasty. I cooked steaks for 6 mins each side as they were quite thick and coated them in sesame seeds before griddling - yum! Served with mash and green beans. I will reduce balsamic mix next time as I had more than enough.

Very tasty! Haven't been that keen on fresh tuna in the past, but this recipe has changed my mind. The combination of the tomatoes and the tuna is very nice.

I did the roasted tomatoes from this recipe - tasty and simple. The vinegar did make my eyes water when I opened the oven door though!

So simple yet so delicious my husband who isn't usually keen on tomatoes cleaned his plate! Makes a difference from all the Thai-style tuna marinades, the balsamic worked so well with the tuna and the tomatoes kept the dish moist. Also a perfect way to use left over salad; I served with mixed salad leaves & raw sliced red onion & made extra 'balsamic oil' to pour over the seared tuna.

Never cooked tuna steak before, very delicious and better than tinned. I loved the balsamic tomatoes, they were a big hit and could be used for loads of things. I might take up someone's suggestion to pour a bit of oil over the tuna as well, as my boyfriend doesn't like eating things 'together' and so was a bit unseasoned for him.

Delicious. Hadn't cooked tuna before but tried this and will definately be cooking it again. So easy and quick to do. I served with potato dauphinois (rocket salad was just too healthy for a cold November evening!) and green beans. My two daughters (2 & 4) loved it too.

Having never cooked fresh tuna before, I am unlikely to cook it again as I didn't like it!! The tomatoes were lovely though

this was so simple, tastey but as it was snowing here and freezing i made roast totties in olive oil with rosemary, whole unpeeled garlic n halved shallots and asparagus in another tray n its was delicious. I was a little nervous of cooking the tuna steak as i have never done so before but i will be doing so again as i can see this being a family favourite mmmmmm! :)

This is damn fine! Made it just for me, for a mid week meal, took half hour all told. I will say though, I made a smaller foil tray to put on baking tray just big enough to accommodate tomatoes, and to help stop balsamic evaporating so much. Also, saved cleaning what would have been a nasty mess on baking tray!! If I was cooking for 4 as per recipe, I would at least double balsamic mix quantity. It was enough for just me, ( and I'm quite small) it does evaporate a bit. Will definitely do again, tomatoes worked brilliantly with the tuna, I imagine would also be good with lamb. I served with chargrilled corn on the cob, and a salad.

Very easy and quick to make. The tomatoes were great. However the next time I would not cook the tuna steak for 2 minutes each side. When you have a thin steak that's too long.
