Highly recommend the use of lime juice instead of vinegar. Also try using 1 onion and red onion to add a bit of colour. Great in Fajita.

Did you mean 25ml vinegar? And some salt helps too. Other than that, not a bad salsa. Especially when lime juice was used instead of the vinegar.

I would agree with 25ml of vinegar. Even after draining away the vinegar it was too bitter for me so I added balsamic syrup (or glaze) which both mellowed and sweetened it).

Great salsa, took advice and used the juice of one lime instead of the vinegar and it was delicious. I also seasoned it well with salt and some pepper. This was a great accompaniment to the falafel burgers featured on the site!

I just added a glug of apple cider vinegar, plus a squeeze of lemon. No sugar either. Turned out nicely! Different to the salsa you buy in the shops, less tomatoey but lovely and fresh and healthy!

I make this a lot for BBQs, or to accompany a green salad...it is always really nice and adds plenty of flavour, I also add a red pepper to it ...
