Cranberry granita
A quick dessert idea great for winter dinner parties, using the Christmas berry, the cranberry

Preparation and cooking times
Prep 20 mins
Ready in 20 mins + freezing- Bring the sugar and port to a boil with 250ml water. Add the cranberries and simmer for a few minutes.
- Whizz in a food processor then strain through a fine sieve and cool.
- Pour into a wide shallow container and freeze. Break up the surface every 20 minutes with a fork until completely frozen.
- Serve in shot glasses with a little mint on top.
