  Well the first mistake I made was not realising it needed an hours marinating until I read the recipe properly. Mine got 20 minutes. The second mistake was not having enough soysauce but I made it up with Thai fish sauce. I also popped it under the grill instead of barbequeing but I'm not counting that as a mistake. But it was jolly good, served with noodles and veg. Maybe next time I'll make it properly!!

  The tuna was lovely with the marinade, but the bok choi didn't work at all. Next time I will make double the marinade and heat it up to use as a sauce as the dish was rather dry, and omit the bok choi completely.

  I found this a bit sweet for my liking. As it's not barbecue weather I tried searing the tuna in the frying pan...not easy to wash! I probably won't make it again.

  So Deeelicious! Only used 2 Tbls of sugar NO WAY do you need more than that. Marinaded for about 2 hours and made sure the tuna steaks were cooked rare in the middle. Used a griddle pan on the gas hob to cook. Such a quick easy tuna steak glaze.

  I wanted to cook this for tonights meal only when i got to the supermarket they had no Tuna, aggghhhh panic, so i tried another supermarket and the same thing happened, double agghhh!! I have ended up buying Swordfish and im going to make the same with this, i really really hope this will work, its quite a meaty fish like Tuna so i think it will, i also cant Barbecue it so i will grill it, but i see others have also grilled it so i know that will be ok. I will be back to let you know how it went. x

  Well i cooked this last night with the Swordfish (as mentioned above) i did do some tweaking with the marinade, I combined 1tbs of fresh lime juice... 1 1/2 tbs Dark Soy Sauce... 1 garlic clove crushed... 1tsp ginger grated... 1 1/2 tsp Sesame Oil and 1tsp soft light brown sugar, this i poured over the fish and left covered in the fridge for 2 1/2hrs turning from time to time to ensure it was well marinaded. I served this with Tangy tomato couscous with chopped roasted red pepper (the pepper i added myself) Roasted Cherry tomato's (home grown) and a corn on the cob (also homegrown) it was absolutely lovely, my partner raved about it last night and was still praising it before he went off to work this morning, so definitely a winner. I will try this recipe again using Tuna, hopefully next time i will be able to get some and the correct Marinade as mentioned in this recipe.x
