Jazz up a plate of broccoli with a couple of Italian ingredients

Method

  1. Steam the broccoli for 5-8 mins until tender. Meanwhile, stir the mint leaves into the pesto. Put the broccoli on a serving dish, drizzle over the minted pesto and sprinkle with the toasted pine nuts.

    Very nice - but you don't need so much pesto - I would say just 2 dessert spoons for this quantity of brocolli.

  • 145g jar basil pesto (or vegetarian alternative)
  • 2 tbsp toasted pine nuts
