I usually mess about making smoked salmon mousse but not anymore...... this is so simple, no dissolving gelatin or wondering if it's going to set, just quick, easy and delicious! (and surprisingly low fat if you use extra light soft cheese)

Brilliant! I have done it loads of times and when I am in a real rush, I just bung the whole lot in the blender and blitzed it quickly. I have also done it with fresh dill when I can't get hold of chives.
