  I have been to Cuba (unlike Americans, Canadians are allowed to visit), and mojitos don't look like this. Sprigs of mint should be trampled into the bottom of the glass with a wooden spoon, and half fill the glass. Then add the rum and ice and top with soda. In Canada, we have a chain restaurant called Earl's, and they add blueberries or blackberries, and break them up as well in the glass, and that is super as well. Not a true mojito, but perfect with their shrimp salad on the patio in summer.

  my most fave coctail ever!! I dont add bitters tho! so refreshing and alcoholic too! Whats not to like! Perfect!

  8 years ago I first fell in love with Mojitos, on a beach bar in Marbella,what a night... Still in love, but now I can make them myself from the comfort of my kitchen in Milton Keynes! Tip: buy a potted mint plant from your local supermarket, they're cheap and easy to keep, it'll save you a bundle if you like your Mojitos!
