Pork, ginger & black bean stir-fry

A quick and easy recipe to get you through the week, and it’s low fat!

Method

  1. Slice the pork steaks into strips. Heat 1 tbsp oil in a wok and add the garlic and ginger. Then add the pork and stir-fry until the pork starts to brown. Add the beans and stir-fry for a minute more. Stir in the black bean sauce and add a splash of water, moving everything around the wok so it is evenly coated. Cook for another minute or two or until the pork is cooked through. Serve with brown rice.

    I didn't think I'd like this but it was absolutely lovely and so easy. I love the cruncy beans with it. Will definitely be doing it again.

  • 2 pork steaks, fat trimmed off
  • oil
  • 2 garlic cloves , finely sliced
  • 2cm piece of ginger , grated
  • 2 handfuls of green beans , trimmed
  • 4 tbsp black bean sauce
  • brown long grain rice to serve (Tilda Riazz cooks in 2 minutes)
