  easy to make, they have a lovely texture and the kids really enjoyed them. they are very light as they are like brownies. great with a cup of tea and a glass of milk for the kids!

  My idea of 4 cm balls of cookie dough are larger than I thought because I have made 9 cookies so far, the rest is for tomorrow and I doubt that I will get any where near 20 cookies in total by the time I have finished. I will be doing them again, that's what the children say!

  These were lovely and chocolately. I was too impatient to leave the mixture to chill, so I used cold spoons to plop balls onto the tray, then dusted over some icing sugar before gently squishing down to a biscuit - it seemed to work fine!

  I got about 15 cookies so apparently I can't measure 4cm either. I used 1tsp baking powder a that seemed to work.

  I made these with half normal, half dark chocolate - yummy! Was also a bit confused about the baking powder, but looked it up in a cook book and found that 1 tsp per 100g flour is about normal...

  Firts time seemed too sweet, so all the other times used only half of sugar indicated, which also made it more chocolateish. Delicious!

  These were just lovely. Thanks for the comments about baking powder, I thought I was going mad! Just used a teaspoon. Not sure what everyone else thought but I thought the longer they were left for, the better they tasted!

  I was too impatient! I couldn't wait long enough and my son kept eating the mixture from the fridge. When I eventually left it alone the finishing product was gorgeous.

  Very easy to make and tasted lovely! I added one teaspoon of baking powder and it worked ok. They cooked better on a metal baking tray lined with greasproof paper than on a clay baking tray - very difficult to get off the clay tray and then I had to put the cookies from the clay tray onto the lined metal tray to finish off in the oven. By family comand I will be baking these cookies again and again and again.......!!

  I only had 100g of chocolate and didn't realise you had to chill them. I went ahead anyway, without chilling and they taste great!

  how much baking powder????? i added 1tsp and they rose far too much to be cookie like!! no one complained when they were eating them though, they taste great!!
