Potato & pea mash

A great way to get some green veg into your kids!

Method

  1. Simmer the potatoes until tender, about 20 minutes. Add the peas to a pan of boiling water and simmer for 3 minutes. Mash the potatoes until smooth and blitz the peas with a hand-held blender until smooth. Add 3/4 of the butter and milk to the mashed potatoes and the rest to the peas, season both, and mash and whizz again. Mix them together gently to create a marbled effect.
